Ninetales95NL (previously known as PhoenixFirebreath, Das Phoenix, NeinTails95NL, and Vulpix95NL) is a Dutch Unterganger.
For his parodies, Ninetales95NL uses VideoPad. With his Downfall parodies, he often uses other content, like game footage and instrumentals for his musical parodies, sometimes cropped in length in order to avoid copyright issues.
Ninetales95NL's parodies are most of the time either video game-oriented or musical parodies. One of his works, The Dolf (What Does The Dolf Say?), has reached over 100K in views.
Over the years, Ninetales95NL has been known to change his name rather frequently.
First name change
His first name change happened on October 16th, 2012, when he changed his name from PhoenixFirebreath to Das Phoenix. (which still was on his old channel) According to him, this name was more suitable for Downfall Parodies. Ironically, it was on the same day when Alfred Jodl and Wilhelm Keitel were executed for war crimes.
Second name change (new channel)
On the 5th of February 2014, Ninetales95NL (as Das Phoenix) announced he was going to delete his old account to create a new one and that he would restore and maybe even remake some of his old parodies. The new channel name has been revealed to be NeinTails95NL, based on Naruto, and he began to reupload and make parodies on that channel. His old channel ceased to exist on 28 February 2014.
Third Name Change and alleged retirement
On February 20, 2015, he changed his name to Vulpix95NL, because he got in a "Pokemon-mood".
Only a month later, he announced that he has lost the motivation to make parodies and would be on a hiatus for an indefinite period. Three days later, however, he admitted that due to several factors he had grown tired of making parodies and made the decision to retire, but included to finish a few more projects before ending his three and a half years of Unterganging.
Several months after that, though, he still appears to be half-active making parodies. Admitting he never really retired, much like the first time back in 2013, his status returned to active on January 2016.
Fourth Name Change
On March 28, 2016, in celebration of reaching 1000 subscribers, he uploaded a video "announcing" his fourth name change, 'evolving' into Ninetales. This ironically contradicted an earlier video(which has since been deleted) where he joked about changing his name again in celebration of 1000 subscribers.
- All of the names he has used so far on his new channel are all from anime creatures (Ninetails (Kurama) from Naruto, Vulpix and Ninetales from Pokémon) that are based upon the Kitsune, a Japanese folklore.
- He was the second Unterganger to win both the Best New/Unknown Unterganger Award and its successor, the Best Unterganger Award, preceded by Venkyra21 and followed by Gb. Alexander.
