“Kdenlive's probably developed by Fegelein!”

Kdenlive (KDE Non-Linear Video Editor) is an open-source video editing software package for Unix-like platforms (Linux, FreeBSD and Mac OS X) based on the MLT Framework, which focuses on flexibility and ease of use. The project was initially started by Jason Wood in 2002, and is now maintained by a small team of developers.

Unlike Windows Movie Maker and iMovie, both of which are bundled with Windows versions prior to 7 and OS X respectively, Kdenlive comes as a separate download, although it can be obtained through the included repositories for the package management systems in most Linux distrubutions.

In Downfall Parodies

It was used by subtitlecomedy in a parody[1] to test its capabilities as a video editor on the Linux platform, as most video tools for the platform are relatively basic or in early development, and while some versions of Sony Vegas can run on the Wine compatibility layer, it is marred with numerous issues that prevent it from being fully functional.
