John Daniel "Jack" Torrance is the caretaker at the Overlook Hotel.
In Downfall parodies[]
Jack was an assassin that Hitler was planning to hire to kill Justin Bieber during Operation: Destroy Bieberdom . However, when Jack showed up for his interview, he proceeded to chop down Dolfy's door using an ax, despite being clearly told that the door was unlocked. Hitler was very annoyed by this, and therefore declined to hire Jack.
His character is parodied in Hitler's Shining, where Hitler went through a very similar experience to Jack Torrence.
